Erica grew up in Petaluma, Northern California and is currently a junior at Columbia University majoring in Materials Science and Engineering.  This summer, she worked on creating a computational tool to model fundamental diffraction patterns of various scattering objects.  In her spare time, Erica is involved with the CU-chapter of Society of Women Engineers and the women’s club ultimate Frisbee team
