In 1915, Peter Debye published his paper:  “Zerstreuung von Röntgenstrahlen” where he showed how X-rays scatter from non-periodic structures and derived what would later be known as the “Debye Scattering Equation”. To commemorate the 100 years of Debye Scattering, the workshop DSE2015 was held in the heart of the Dolomites in Italy. Here, 50 participants including Pavol, Simon, and Kirsten discussed X-ray scattering, powder diffraction, and Pair Distribution Function Analysis in the beautiful setting of the Cavalese village.
